To the right »» » you will find a list of technologies that we are currently using to present our virtual tours.

Below is a quick Technical FAQ on how we handle providing our technologies.

  • What are your system requirements?
    • Operating System - Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, or VISTA. The Flash version of our tours will run on most MAC and Unix PC's.
    • Processor - A 233 megahertz (MHz) processor, such as an Intel Pentium II or Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) processor.
    • RAM / Memory - This is going to vary depending on what Operating System you are running. But basically we recommend a MINIMUM of 128mb of memory and if you are running VISTA than 1gb.
    • Bandwidth - To get best quality you are going to need a high speed connection. We do offer a dial-up version of our tours but it does not go full-screen.
  • Do I need to INSTALL anything on my computer to run your tours?
    • Right now our primary technology uses Windows Media Player. So if you are running Windows there is a good chance you have all you need to view our tours!
    • If you are anti-microsoft no problem; we offer an Adobe Flash Version.
  • What VERSION of Microsoft Media Player or Flash will I need to view your tours?
  • The high-bandwidth or full-screen tour does not work?
    • Make sure you are on a high-speed connection. Click here to test your bandwidth or connection speed. Your bandwidth should be 512k or at least 256k (you might witness some buffering at 256k)
    • There could be a BOTTLENECK in the connection some place. Try rebooting and viewing the tour again.
    • Clear your CACHE or DELETE your Temporary Internet Files. You can do this in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox by going to the TOOLS MENU and selecting options or Internet Options and then deleting temporary Internet files or in Firefox click the CACHE tab and select clear cache now. If this does not work please call our tech-support at 1-888-825-5114; M-F 9-5 Mountain Time so a technician can assist you.
  • On the high speed or full-screen tour I get VIDEO but NO SOUND or SOUND but NO VIDEO?
    • Our Windows Media tours play from a Video Streaming Server. When a video is streamed over the Internet it will try and sense if your computer and connection speed are adequate to view the tour at BEST QUALITY. If there is something impeding the connection speed it will put LOADING the video a priority instead of QUALITY. So basically it will take the video or sound OUT to make the presentation run. REMEMBER IT IS NOT THE TECHNOLOGY OR AN ERROR ON OUR PART of why the tour is only presenting video or audio. It is basically the Video Streaming Server putting emphasis on LOAD-TIMES instead of quality.
    • Why do we use a streaming server? Because it handles simultaneous hits much better. Remember we could have thousands of people trying to view ONE-TOUR. Streaming our tours manages the bandwidth much better.
  • Why does the tour START and STOP during playback?
    • Again this is a streaming issue. The video stops so it can load more video to play.
    • REMEMBER it is not an error on our part or does not have anything to do with the production of the tour.
    • Even on our Flash Tours that are not streamed they will start and stop if your Bandwidth or Computer reaches it's limits.
  • I have the system requirements and software needed but I am still having troubles?
    • A good troubleshooting method is to UNINSTALL and REINSTALL Windows Media Player. Please make sure you download the most recent version of Media Player before reinstalling.
